Catad enclosures feature in “The Blackwood Times”

This month’s The Blackwood Times community newspaper headlined the discussions currently underway with Mitcham Council in regards to ‘confinement of cats to property’. CatPads was interviewed for this article and made points that supported the confinement of cats. In particular we spoke about the general community that were now building cat enclosures through greater awareness of the issues of wandering cats as part of their own ‘self regulation’. PLANTS POISONOUS TO CATS

Cat owners – please be aware that some of your garden plants may be poisonous to your cats. It’s worthwhile to check on a website just what may fall into this category. CatPad enclosures will do our best to assist you with this when we build your enclosure but of course the decision is yours in regards to your gardening!

LEWIS – OUR CATPAD CAT This is our beautiful cat Lewis that Tangerine Meg (Margie Goodchild) has created for us. Lewis is what inspires us to do the work we do in building cat enclosures over Adelaide to ensure cats have safe and secure outdoor areas to enjoy. Thank you Margie for such a beautiful piece of art! CatPads at #Meow Cat Cafe – Felixstow

CATPADS AT #MEOW CAT CAFE – 499a LOWER NORTH EAST ROAD, FELIXSTOW Met up with owner Amelia Wang this afternoon at this very popular cafe in Felixstow. The cat room is set up for patrons to come in and spend time with a range of beautiful felines with an emphasis on cat appreciation. Let Amelia prepare your dessert after viewing! CatPads at the Royal Show

CatPad enclosures will once again be at the Royal Show this year in the Pet Centre. (right opposite the Cat Judging area) Come and visit us to see our extensive display of photographed builds and to speak to us about what’s possible to create a safe and secure space for your cat/s!

Over the past 2 weeks the Weekender Herald newspaper has run articles on the Containment of cats. (July 13th and 20th). These articles highlight the results of the Local Council’s Public Consultation when reviewing their Dog and Cat Management Plans with residents wanting cats to be contained to owners properties. CatPad enclosures is currently running an advertising program (radio and print) in the Adelaide Hills area to help support cat owners in securing their cats on their properties through having us build a cat enclosure....

CatPads on Hills Radio 88.9 FM

CatPad enclosures will be running a series of ads on Hills Radio FM over the next few months. It’s part of  our aim to support local communities to learn a little more about the options available to cat owners in regards to cat containment.
